This evening Blizzard has released an interview with World of Warcraft’s lead encounter designer, Scott Mercer. In this interview, Mercer details the scale of the final showdown with Deathwing and explains just how much work went into making the encounter possible.

Англоязычную страницу [hide]Warcraft[/hide] в социальной сети Facebook посетило уже больше 2 миллионов человек, [hide]сообщает[/hide] компания Blizzard Entertainment. Разработчиков чрезвычайно обрадовало это известие, поэтому в честь этого великого рекорда они выпустили новые [hide]обои для рабочего стола[/hide] с изображением «самой популярной пары Азерота – Тралла и Аггры», которые, обнявшись, «противостоят мощи бушующего Водоворота».

Blizzard призвала всех присоединяться к страницам [hide]Warcraft[/hide], [hide]StarCraft[/hide] и [hide]Diablo[/hide] в сети Facebook для того, чтобы «следить за новостями и сообщениями».

Опубликован [hide]список срочных исправлений[/hide] патча 4.2 к MMORPG World of Warcraft: Cataclysm от 20 сентября 2011 года, сообщает компания Blizzard Entertainment. Компания Blizzard Entertainment [hide]опубликовала обзор[/hide] «Душа дракона» предыстории рейдов на 10 и 25 человек трех уровней сложности, которые появятся в патче 4.3 к MMORPG World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

«Храм Драконьего Покоя, созданный титанами, чтобы служить прибежищем для всех драконов, стал последней надеждой для сил, противостоящих черному дракону Нелтариону, когда-то бывшему Хранителем Земли и защитником Азерота, а ныне известному под именем Смертокрыла Разрушителя. Именно здесь, в Храме, встретились аспекты – Алекстраза, Изера, Ноздорму, Калесгос и Тралл. Их цель – воспользоваться последним оставшимся у Азерота шансом и зарядить своей мощью душу дракона. Однако Смертокрыл не собирается довольствоваться покоем – его армии во главе с ним самим уже осадили Храм. Игрокам понадобится выиграть время для Тралла и аспектов, чтобы те успели зарядить душу дракона.

Перед боем с самим Смертокрылом вам придется одержать верх над шестью могучими боссами».

Очередным победителем конкурса «Хранитель учетных записей», проходящего среди коммьюнити MMORPG World of Warcraft, стал «Рено из Ангулема» (Франция), [hide]сообщает[/hide] официальный сайт этой игры от компании Blizzard Entertainment. Он представил на суд общественности «потрясающее дизайнерское решение — игровую комнату со встроенной защитой на базе биологически чистых технологий зергов».

Конкурс будет продолжаться до января 2012-го года, а победителей будут выбирать ежемесячно. Их наградят устройствами iPad 2.

[hide]Brewfest[/hide] 2011 is finally here! It’s a magical in-game holiday dedicated to the fine art of getting drunk. There are [hide]achievements[/hide] to be had, special [hide]holiday mounts[/hide], and [hide]Coren Direbrew[/hide], a holiday boss with a new-for-2011 loot table filled with i365 trinkets. Better yet, it’s an excuse to drink pint after pint after pint! So what if it’s not noon yet? It’s a holiday — get off my back.

There certainly are a lot of good pictures of the Al’Akir encounter, aren’t there? I suppose there’s not much else to do when you’re punted off the roof and falling to your death. Proud Alliance stalwart Dogtag of Madhouse Inmates on Bronzebeard (EU-A) submitted this picture as one of «a great many» he took while awaiting his imminent demise.
