The Daily Quest: Absence makes the heart grow fonder

WoW Insider’s on a [hide]Daily Quest[/hide] to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.

You know what I miss? Class-based quests. Not the simple You have reached level 10, let’s do a quest where you learn how to cast that one spell I just taught you variety — the kind like the old quests found in Molten Core or the epic mount quests that warlocks and paladins had to do. I did all but one of them at one point in time or another, the exception being the hunter quest that you picked up in Molten Core. And each of them was unique, fun, interesting. And … giant pains in the butt now that I think about it — but hey, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Today, we’ve got at a few posts from around the blogosphere regarding absences of one kind or another.

[hide]Orcish Army Knife[/hide] laments the lack of level 50-60 water and offers some suggestions on where to get [hide]your mana fix[/hide].

[hide]Flow[/hide] ponders the lack of incentives to keep raiders in your guild happy and [hide]raiding effectively[/hide].

[hide]Raging Monkeys[/hide] ponders what would be lacking if the game happened to lack a [hide]proper heroic feel[/hide].
